Marilyn left us suddenly but peacefully on June 30, 2019 at SAH with the love of her life by her side. A loving wife, friend and soulmate to Eric Murray who loved her dearly. Proud and much loved mother to her 4 children, Mark (Victoria) Cartwright of Michigan, Connie (Bill) Lark of Michigan, Kimber (Joe) Cunningham of Texas, Tom (Leigh) Cartwright of Texas, stepsons, Larry (Chris) Murray, Ken Murray of Toronto and Ricky Murray of Windsor. Adored grandmother of 15, great grandmother of 17 and great great grandmother of 2 grandsons. Also survived by her dear sister, Anne (Mike) Youngs of Michigan. Marilyn was an exceptional artist and her art will live on and be cherished. Dear to her heart was rock painting and photography. For many years when she and Eric lived out at Harmony Bay, they would collect stones from the shores of Lake Superior, paint and return them for visitors to find. In keeping with Marilyn’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a family gathering will take place in September on the shores of Lake Superior.
