Passed away peacefully at ARCH on July 15, 2019 at the age of 77. Survived by his loving wife, Dorothy. Stepfather of Bobbi-Jo Russell, David Russell and father of Jim Ryan and Margret Berthiaume. Cherished grandfather of Steven, Courtney, Chantel, Kyle, Leah, Evan and Tyra Lynn Russell, Amy, Eric Berthiaume and Michael Ryan . The apple of his eyes were his great grandchildren, Lucas, Elijah, Keira Russell, Aurora Lynn Russell, Jackson, Lincoln and Barrett Hannah. Brother of John Pilon, Aline Mooney, Ann Vanlangahem, Lucy Pilon, Shirley Pepin and Lori Turco. Brother in law of Judy Kohler, Glenn Charlebois and the late Bill, Mary Ellen and Herb. Son of the late John and Stella Pilon and son in law of the late Bud and Lou Charlebois. He will be missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to thank nurse Precy and Dr. Wilson for helping Paul stay home as long as he could. A special thank you to the staff at ARCH (cornflake girls) for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tracy's Dream or ARCH (payable by cheque). Messages of condolences sent to 310-250 Albert Street East, Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, P6A 6P4. Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life on Saturday July 20, 2019 from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the home of our long time friend, Kathy Merritt, 513 Lake Street (corner of Lake and Marconi).
