BOVINGDON, Micheal Shane
Passed away peacefully at ARCH Hospice, with family and close friends by his side, on February 3rd, 2020, at the age of 61. He is now in the company of his late wife Kathleen Bovingdon (Moreau) and his mother Arlene. Mike leaves behind his loving father Lynn Bovingdon and his children Shane (Sara) and Jessica (Jason). Brother of Jody (Dianne), Kelly, and Catherine (Joe). Grandfather of 6 and great grandfather of 3. Beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews. He was a cherished friend to all who were blessed to have him in their lives. Mike was a lover of books and drawing. His love and amazing talent for music will always be a part of him. As a humble and dedicated man his spirit is set to be a “free bird”. There will be a private family gathering at this time. A celebration of Life at a further date where guitars, song and fire will be announced. The family extends a heartfelt thank you to ARCH Hospice, Sault Area Hospital, Dr. Booth and Debbie for the care given to Mike. Donations to Arch Hospice, The Cancer Society or The Heart & Stroke Foundation are greatly appreciated.
